I love my bike; Jims 11.5 pound scott addict. Jim Lee has built up an amazing ride (thanks in part to the light weight Xpedo Pedals he bought at Main Street bikes) suitable, but not legal to race, for pros in Europe. Tom: Here's the photos of my Scott Addict with the Xpeedo Thrust pedals. The pedals are great; they're VERY smooth and the cleat system (Look Keo compatible) works extremely well. The adjustment to clip out has an effective range from "effortless out" to "clamped in a vise". I've had Shimano Dura-ace and Campy Record (Ti) on my other bikes and the Xpeedos are as good or better... definitely better, because they're lighter and half the price. I bought the Xpeedos to complete my "weight weenie" bike build project and they contributed to a successful result of 11.5 lbs -- WITH THE PEDALS!!
