BH announces all new G5 for the tour Just as I was getting perfectly content with my own BH G4, the tech heads at BH went and upped the bar. Quite a bit. The all new BH G5 takes the race proven platform of the G4 and beefs it up with oversize headtube, BB30 bottom bracket and a slew of other nifty details including carbon slotted cable stops. Having ridden and raced the G4 for the last half of this season, it is very hard to find any fault in this frame. But Cocalis (BH's USA importer and founder of Titus cycles) is a perfectionist with a storied pedigree in bicycle innovations. New lids from Lazer The season is upon us and we have a lot of new stock. Among all of the knick knacks, lights, bags and fanciness that one could want for a bike, one thing is above all else Needed... the helmet. Our main brand is Lazer out of belgium, where they know how to make cyclists and cycling apparel tough. The O2 and the 2x3m are in stock and two of my favorite helmets. The 2x3m comes in at around 50 bones, has an excellent fit system, and the most wonderful of additions, the integrated bug netting. You will appreciate it in Kentucky summers. The O2 is the consumer version of the Genesis which is the lid that tommy boonen sports. The O2 comes in at about half the cost (100 bucks) but it has the same fit system and venting that makes the helmet pro worthy. BH G4 two month review On the few decent days we have had this winter, I have been taking time to test out and review some of the hot new bikes for 2009. The three bikes that piqued my interest most are the BH G4, the new and improved Jamis Eclipse, and Fuji's new SST or "super stiff team" carbon bike. All three are road bikes built for different purposes but each has a stunning look and market themselves to particular types of riders. Tour fans might recognize the super sleek BH G4 from the AG2R team this last year. In Europe, BH offers a full line of road, mountain, hybrid and kids bikes. In the US market, they are focusing on high end road, and offering their top three full carbon rigs.
